The Elysia Skye Breast Cancer Organization

The Elysia Skye Breast Cancer Organization was started in July 2008 by breast cancer survivor Elysia Skye. This is a non-profit, designed to facilitate creative projects by cancer survivors for the purposes of healing, education and laughter. This is also a networking group to share and exchange personal stories, medical referrals and healing techniques, as well as a forum for people under 40 affected by cancer to find out they are not alone.

Elysia Skye was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer her right breast & auxillary lymphnodes shortly after her 24th birthday. She underwent a double mastectomy, 18 weeks of intravenous chemotherapy, 5 1/2 weeks of radiation and reconstructive surgeries (expanders, silicone implants, skin grafted nipples and two fat graftings).
